WalletHub, a popular personal finance website, released a study Thursday that lists the states with the highest rate of people leaving their jobs. However, New York, New Jersey and Connecticut were among the states with the fewest resignations.
The report determines how often people leave their workplaces in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.
New Jersey tied with the state of Washington for 44th place. Just under 2.5% of people quit their jobs in the last 12 months.
Connecticut, meanwhile, was ranked 49th, with 2.17% of people quitting in the last 12 months.
New York was the state least likely to have people leave their jobs, with just 1.87% of people quitting in the last 12 months.
As for states where people are most likely to leave their jobs, Alaska ranked first, with nearly 4% of residents quitting in the past 12 months. South Carolina, Georgia, Delaware and Kentucky rounded out the top five.
