Options will include a wireless charging station for smartphones, heated and ventilated seats, USB ports including USB Type-C, and a Bose audio system with 10 speakers. A number of vehicle functions can be remotely controlled using the NissanConnect App. The interior can be trimmed with Nappa leather.

The next-generation Nissan Qashqai is set to be the brand’s first European model built on the modular CMF-C platform. In the design of the crossover, the use of high-strength steel will be significantly increased, due to which the body will turn out to be about 40% stronger than its predecessor. At the same time, the hood, rear doors and front fenders will be made of aluminum, and the trunk lid will be made of composite materials, which will allow the car to be 60 kg lighter than its predecessor.

The engine lineup will include 1.3-liter “turbo fours”, operating in conjunction with a 12-volt on-board electrical system and a variator. The units will be available in two stages of boost: 140 and 160 horsepower.

In addition, the new Nissan Qashqai will have a version with an e-Power hybrid powertrain, where a 1.5-liter petrol engine will act as a generator to recharge the batteries, and a 190-horsepower electric motor will be the traction unit.
