Nissan introduces the Note in the third generation, it has an internal combustion engine only as a generator

The Nissan Note is one of the most successful and most popular Nissanes in the world, yet in 2017 the Japanese decided to withdraw the second generation of this hatchback from European markets. At home, however, Note continues to exist and has now reached its third generation.

In the case of the new Note, Nissan went in the opposite direction than most carmakers, and instead of enlarging the hatchback intergenerationally, it did the exact opposite. Note is now smaller, to fit into the narrow streets of Japanese cities. For example, with a length of 4045 mm, it is significantly 55 mm shorter. Thanks to the new CMF-B platform, passengers will not suffer. Nissan also opted for the current design language, which is futuristic and modern.

The interior is a real digital revolution. The displays are ubiquitous here, for example the driver uses them instead of the instrument panels or the entire crew thanks to the central screen. On the outside, the higher versions of the equipment will receive nice fifteen-inch alloy wheels and LED lights.

The basic Note model will be a version with a hybrid drive system. However, its basis is untraditionally formed by an electric motor, not a combustion unit. Of course, it is under the hood, but the 1.2-liter four-cylinder petrol engine only produces energy for the electric motor as a unit. Note will then be supplied by Nissan in a fully electric version. By the way, there is talk that a hybrid system like Note will be used by the European version of the Qashquai crossover.

We will probably not see a timeless hatchback with an electric motor in Europe. Nissan plans to sell the Note mainly on the domestic market in Japan and will go on sale at the beginning of December. The Japanese price is favorable, the car in the land of the rising sun will cost less than 450 thousand crowns.
