NIS America’s Halloween game is called Shadow Corridor

In Japan, this title had already been ported to Switch and PS4 by Regista who took the opportunity to include improvements such as adjusting the difficulty and adding a mini-map in beginner mode. As with more and more of his titles recently, notably Disgaea 6, NIS America has chosen to ignore the PS4 version which will remain in Japan, even though the Japanese versions already offer texts in English, by the way. This western distribution therefore concerns only the Switch, on which we can get the game on the eShop from October 26.

On the program, a first-person horror game filled with ghosts from Japanese folklore that takes place in randomly generated levels. The player must explore the places in the twilight by relying on useful objects to hope to survive against the spirits cursed by a Noh mask. These ghosts will react to the slightest stimulation such as light or sounds emitted by the movements of the player, who can fortunately adjust the difficulty of the game, from beginner mode to mode Shura. This Switch version includes the few additional content released on PC, as well as the mode Apparition Defenders which allows you to embody a ghost to hunt humans in turn.
