End of the beautiful series for Niort who fell in Amiens (3-1) this Saturday evening during the 24th day of League 2. However, the Chamois delivered an interesting face but did not know how to be realistic in the two surfaces against a very inspired Aliou Badji in particular. « We are disappointed because we defended badly on their goals. The first two are more or less two mistakes on our part. I especially regret the third which arrives too quickly after the reduction of the score. We score more than logically in view of the opportunities and the performance as a whole. Amiens was realistic and efficient, which we should have been more defensively if we weren’t able to score on our chances. Now I can’t fault my players much. We had a good game in terms of possession and game idea. We can also make good games and lose them. These are the rules of the game, you have to accept it (…). »
