Aerolneas Argentinas confirmed the completion of its ninth flight to Moscow in search of Sputnik V vaccines, after the arrival of the last departure made last Monday, through a message broadcast by the president of the company, Pablo Ceriani, on Twitter.
“We want to inform that at 01.30 a new airline flight leaves for Moscow to bring more doses of the Sputnik V vaccine. It is the ninth operation that we carry out in Russia fulfilling this fundamental logistical task against Covid-19,” said Ceriani in the social network.
The flight, in charge of an Airbus 330-200, will depart at 1.30 am under the number AR1064, from Ezeiza International Airport, estimating its arrival at Sheremtievo International Airport at midnight in Russia, (approximately 18 in our country) and stay for around five hours, carrying out the work of loading the vaccines, to finally land in Ezeiza on Friday at 5:35 p.m.
“Our work is just one more link in this chain of efforts being made by the national government to acquire the doses of vaccines necessary to protect the population from this virus that is causing so much damage. We are prepared to do it and we do it responsibly because it is a task that requires us to rise to the occasion, ”said Ceriani.
