People could buy a novelty called Switch OLED during the summer holidays, when the biggest sellers offered it to their customers as part of a pre-order. Although Nintendo did not officially reveal how many consoles went on sale in the Czech Republic, it is certain that they were all dismantled as part of pre-orders.

According to responses on social networks, it has not yet reached all users who purchased the console two months in advance. “I ordered a new Switch OLED at the beginning of August, I paid for the order immediately, and yet this week I received a message that I would not receive a new console,” complained Pavel Z in a game group on Facebook.

He is not alone in having a similar experience. “It simply came to our notice then. The seller wrote to me that maybe next month, but it is not certain, “said František S.” I am really curious if they will be able to deliver the order to me before Christmas, I ordered in mid-August, “Tomáš K did not hide his worries.

His concerns are already in place. Some domestic traders clearly state on their websites that they will now be able to process current orders only in February next year.

Potential applicants will pay CZK 9,490 for Switch OLED. The manufacturer therefore set the price of the novelty to exactly the same amount as in the case of the original switch. Thanks to the arrival of a novelty with the word OLED in the title, it fell by a thousand to CZK 8,490. The original hybrid console from Nintendo is not sold out, the manufacturer expects to offer it together with the novelty.

Probably the biggest improvement with the new switch is the presence of an OLED display, which is, after all, indicated by the name itself. It should offer a more faithful color rendering, significantly better contrast and, last but not least, a larger size. The original switch only had a 6.2-inch screen.
