The video sheds more light on the roster of characters, power-ups, and the online game system. Wonder is the first original 2D scrolling Mario game in over ten years. One of the main features of the game is the Wonder Flower, which transforms each level in a unique way:
“When you touch the Miracle Flower in the game, the wonders of the world are revealed – pipes can come to life, hordes of enemies can appear, characters can change their appearance, for example, transforming the gameplay in unpredictable ways. Hobbies and various surprises await you at every stage,” says in the description of the game.
When to expect
Release of Super Mario Bros. Wonder will take place on October 20th exclusively for Nintendo Switch.
