Nintendo will release the game on April 30 New Pokémon Snap out for the Nintendo Switch, the company makes Thursday known. The game is the successor to the popular 1999 photography title.
In New Pokémon Snap you travel through the Lental island region, where you have to take photos of more than two hundred wild Pokémons. The photos are judged on various criteria, such as in what position they stand and whether they look into the camera.
You play a photographer who is asked by Professor Mirror to study the so-called Illumina phenomenon, which causes Pokémons to glow.
This year Nintendo is celebrating the 25th anniversary of the popular series Pokémon. The company has included singer Katy Perry in the festivities.
