Nintendo Switch, system update 10.2.0 downloadable – Nerd4.life

Nintendo released thesystem update 10.2.0 per Nintendo Switch, the first since that of 13 July 2020. What can you expect downloading it? Not much, actually, as it doesn’t add any features to the console.

This is the classic stability update designed to improve the user experience, as stated in the very short official release note. Translating: some bugs are fixed. Of course, after so many months we could have expected something more, but evidently the COVID-19 pandemic has also slowed down the development of console software.

Starting the Nintendo Switch, the 10.2.0 system update should download automatically. If this does not happen (perhaps because at the time of verification the console was not connected to the internet) you can force it in the console settings menu.
