NINTENDO rumored to be presenting the latest model of portable gaming console Switch. There are rumors that the Switch will come with a “Pro” version. This variant is claimed to come with a mini LED screen. It was reported Economic Daily.
Quoted from Ubergizmo, Wednesday (28/10/2020), the report also stated that this mini LED screen will be supplied by Innolux, after Nintendo reportedly moved away from other screen partners Sharp and JDI.

The mini LED screen itself is starting to get more attention lately as an alternative to OLED. Technology companies such as Apple are also rumored to be using this technology for their devices in the future.
For those unfamiliar, mini LED is like a hybrid between display technologies like LCD and OLED. The screen offers features like better screen contrast and makes for potentially long battery life. It’s rated very well for gaming devices like the Switch which can be used in portable mode as well.
Meanwhile, other news from the Nintendo Switch is that Joy-Con accessories can be purchased individually. So far, if you want to have a Joy-Con you have to buy a pair, but in the future they can be separated. This is as reported by Nintendo through its Twitter account.
“From 9/11, one #NintendoSwitch Joy-Con controller will be available. Choose from the left Joy-Con controller in Neon Blue, and the right Joy-Con controller in Neon Red,” wrote @NintendoAmerica.

Nintendo reports that starting November 9th, it will sell the Joy-Con individually at an affordable price. They had previously sold the Joy-Con separately, but they were very expensive, plus it was quite difficult to get them.
