There are no plans for a new model after the arrival of the OLED version on the market
While many people are still digesting the announcement of the new Nintendo Switch model which was shown by the company last July 6th, some people are still speculating whether the Nintendo plans a new model to be released after the OLED screen version arrives on October 8th. A Nintendo decided to go public to say that he has no plans for another model.
Today’s official public relations twitter Nintendo went public to deny that there are plans for a speculated “Switch Pro”, which supposedly would come with more powerful hardware. This new hardware would allow a graphical improvement to the Nintendo Switch, also including a 4K video output for the most modern televisions. Some rumors even pointed out that the NVIDIA would use its DLSS technology to improve graphics of games already released and future releases for the console.
“A July 15, 2021 report stated that the profit margin of the Nintendo Switch (OLED model) would increase compared to the Nintendo Switch. To ensure the right understanding between our investors and customers, we want to make it clear that the claim is incorrect. We also want to clarify that we have just announced that the Nintendo Switch (OLED model) will be released in October 2021, and we have no plans to release any other models at this time.”
