Nintendo announced that Switch and Switch Lite sales in the United States totaled 735,926 consoles in October 2020. This figure exceeded the last year’s by 136%.
In addition, sales in October 2020 are the second highest sales of any gaming console in history for October, second only to the Wii result (807 thousand systems) in October 2008.
Nintendo Switch continues to sell in record numbers. For 23 consecutive months, the console remains the best-selling console in the United States. Analyst firm NPD noted that no system released can boast the same.
To date, more than 22.5 million Nintendo Switch systems have been sold in the United States, as well as over 63 million systems worldwide.
