From his post it appears that the console could get image sensor – camera. It could theoretically serve for working with virtual or assisted realitybut we don’t know the details yet.
Nintendo has with the use of cameras on their consoles rich experience. However, the Switch has only ever had an infrared sensor. The Chinese content creator had previously talked about the presence of an image sensor in the case of its next generation AK’s Tech Studiowho allegedly has contacts in the production chain.
Shigeru Mimaymoto, the man behind the Mario and Zelda franchises, previously stated, že new hardware would allow him to design unique titles that could not be realized with current hardware. So perhaps he was pointing to the as-yet-unrevealed mechanics that the alleged sensor will bring. But for now we are only speculating.
According to earlier reports, the new Nintendo Switch has to offer up to 512GB of storage along with larger display. We discussed more details in a separate article. The console is due out sometime in the second half of next year, but when it will be announced is still unclear. It certainly wasn’t during Gamescom though…
NINTENDO DIRECT STREAMING THIS WEEK
Along with other Nintendo Switch 2 rumors comes the official one notification of Nintendo concerned of Direct transmission. It will take place this Thursday, that is 31. 8.and should focus primarily on the title Super Mario Bros. Wonder.
Broadcasting will be started at 16:00 our time and should bring 15 minutes of playing the new Mario, which is the first Mario title from Nintendo in about ten years to actually deliver something new. In addition to the main character in overalls and a red cap, it will be possible to play as Luigi, Peach, Daisy, Toad or Yoshi, across a wide variety of different levels.
Super Mario Bros. Wonder will arrive on 10/20 this year exclusively on Switch.
