Nintendo launches its streaming music platform – anews

Nintendo released Nintendo Musica new streaming music application focused exclusively on soundtracks from its most iconic titles, such as Super Mario, Zelda y Pokémon. With an interface inspired by Apple Music and the classic red color of Nintendothis app offers a nostalgic experience focused on fans of its games.

Freely available at App Store y Google Play, Nintendo Music Requires a Nintendo Online subscription (with a one-week free trial) to access its content. The platform organizes soundtracks in an attractive way, allowing you to explore them by platform, game, and themed playlists such as “Boss Battles” and specific selections such as “Walking” or “Good Night.”

However, the Nintendo Music catalog is limited, with just a few dozen titles, especially recent games. Although Nintendo has promised to expand it, it has not specified dates or details.

Additionally, the app is not available on the Nintendo Switch nor on tablets, which limits access. Users have also pointed out the lack of credits for composers, such as the famous Koji Kondo, and have expressed interest in lists dedicated to specific composers.

With Nintendo Music, the company seeks to highlight the importance of music in the gaming experience and celebrate themes that have transcended popular culture.
