Nintendo brings Donkey Kong Country to Switch Online on July 15 – Gaming – News

Nintendo has added two new SNES and a new NES game to its Nintendo Switch online service. These games include the original Donkey Kong Country. Natsume Championship Wrestling and The Immortal are also added.

The three new titles will be playable from July 15, Nintendo says on Twitter. The titles therefore include Donkey Kong Country, a popular 2d platformer released in 1994. The company also shows a video with secrets that gamers can unlock in that game. Donkey Kong Country was also playable on the loose SNES Classic Miniconsole, which came on the market in 2017.

In addition, Nintendo is adding Natsume Championship Wrestling for the SNES and action-adventure game The Immortal for the NES to its online service. Japanese Nintendo Switch Online users will receive Donkey Kong Country and Shin Megami Tensei for the SNES and Gun-Dec for the NES. At the time of writing, there are 68 games for the NES and 29 SNES games available through Nintendo Switch Online, excluding the three upcoming additions.
