Some have wondered what Nintendo’s response will be, and now we have the answer.Nintendo boss Doug Bowser recently accepted InverseDuring the interview, this topic came up. Bowser explained that this generation has been good for both Microsoft and Nintendo, which have collaborated on several things:

“We have a great relationship with Microsoft. We consider them a partner in many, many ways, and you only have to look at the Nintendo Switch to see that partnership. Obviously, Minecraft is on the Nintendo Switch, we’re bringing Banjo Kazooie to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. So, we look forward to this partnership continuing.

Regarding Spencer’s letter, Bowser added that acquisitions and consolidations almost always happen, adding that new studios ensure the industry stays fresh:

“In terms of consolidation in the industry, I’ve been in this industry for over 16 years. One thing that’s constant is the acquisition of studios. But the other thing that’s constant is that there are new studios coming out every year. It’s unbelievable of creative studios are producing content ranging from indie-sized games to AAA-sized games.

Before Microsoft acquired Activision Blizzard, they also reached an agreement with Nintendo and promised to launch “Call of Duty” and other games in the future. This combined with several other versions of Xbox games Switch, such as Ori and the Blind Forest, Minecraft Dungeons, and Goldeneye 007 (games that Nintendo has copyrighted) and Xbox, makes Bowser say they are “Many, many partners”It seems right.
