Nintendo and Universal Studios Team Up for Another Video Game Adaptation on the Big Screen: The Legend of Zelda?

Hollywood insider Jeff Sneider reports the signing of a deal between Nintendo and the movie giant Universal Studios for another video game adaptation of Illumination Entertainment on the cinema screen. After the successful cinema highlight There Super Mario Bros. Moviewhich has entered the top 20 highest-grossing films of all time with earnings of over 1.3 billion US dollars, one would like to dare another Nintendo brand, namely The Legend of Zelda.

If there is any truth to the rumor, it will be a few more years before we get the first official information about it. However, it shouldn’t be surprising if Nintendo and Universal Studios would produce another animated film after the successful project.
