Nintendo just added four more games to the software catalogs Super Nintendo Entertainment System, Nintendo Entertainment System – Nintendo Switch Online et Game Boy – Nintendo Switch Online. A SNES game has been added: the puzzle game Kirby’s Star Stacker d’HAL Laboratoryreleased on February 1, 1998 exclusively in Japan as Kirby no Kirakira Kizzu. This is a remake of the original version on Game Boy which was released in the West. It should normally have been released outside of Japan, but on the side of Nintendo of America, the shipment of SNES games had ceased in 1997. This remake had already been on the Nintendo Switch Online service last year, but exclusively in Japan. On the side of the NES, we find the fighting game Joy Mech Fight of Nintendo R&D1released on May 21, 1993 in Japan (he too had already joined the Nintendo Switch Online service in 2019 but exclusively in Japan), as well as the action and sports game Downtown Nekketsu March Super-Awesome Field Day! of Technos Japan, released in Japan on October 12, 1990 (it also joined the Nintendo Switch Online service in 2019, but only in Japan). Finally, regarding the Game Boy, the game that has been added is the action RPG Quest for Camelot of Titus Interactiveadapted from the animated film Excalibur, the magic swordwhich was originally released on December 16, 1998. Unfortunately, Kirby’s Star Stacker, Joy Mech Fight, and Downtown Nekketsu March Super-Awesome Field Day! are only playable in Japanese. This isn’t really a problem for Kirby’s Star Stacker whose controls are quite easy to master without instructions, but for the others it’s more complicated.
