The leader of the Socialists, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Industry Cornelia Ninova never assumed that Radev and Borissov would speak with one voice.
I don’t understand it. I’m looking for political logic and I can’t find it. We have had several crises, we understand this from the government. We haven’t been given 10 days of peace. Petkov and his team, all of us, had to be given more tolerance. “People want fast results, we do our best,” she explained. And pointed out the goals of the government in the studio of Lubo Ognyanov on Nova TV.
Regarding criticism of President Rumen Radev, the Deputy Prime Minister assured that the cabinet understands the gravity of the situation with the crises facing the country. However, Ninova believes that the coalition should be given more tolerance for work.
Cornelia Ninova pointed out that increasing the income of citizens is a priority for the government.
The BSP will demand a minimum wage of BGN 760 in the update of the budget for 2022, planned for the middle of the year.
Parliament has already adopted the draft budget for this year at first reading, with an increase in the minimum wage from BGN 650 to BGN 710 from 1 April.
Ninova said that the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy is developing various options for recalculating all pensions with new insurance income when updating the budget.
