“The court has ruled and disregards Telenor’s appeal for annulment in full of the preliminary execution of our order and allows this ruling to be appealed to the SAC. This is a small victory in our desire to help the citizens in these difficult times “, said at a briefing today the Minister of Economy Cornelia Ninova.
“We won the case at first instance, we will continue this policy until the end,” Ninova said.
“Do not raise prices while this process is going on, the increase will be illegal because of the order we issued, its preliminary execution and the recognition of the court,” Ninova told mobile operators.

“Even if the court ruling is appealed, we will continue the same policy, consumer protection becomes the number one goal of the team of the Ministry of Economy and Industry,” Ninova warned.
“We obey a few things – to protect people and everything is within the law. If citizens feel that they are harmed, please contact the Consumer Protection Commission. “People do not have the opportunity to conduct their own cases, to find a lawyer – especially in small towns, to pay the costs of the case, to travel to Sofia,” said the Deputy Prime Minister.

“I will not comment on a possible increase in prices above those offered. When the decisions of the mobile operators are seen and at the moment when we have information, if it goes beyond the law, we will react ”, added Ninova.
