Have there been skins like this before? With the skins, Epic follows the model of “PUBG”, who also created skins in cooperation with their largest streamer.

Such skins have not officially existed in Fortnite yet, but some skins have been “claimed” or attributed to them by streamers.

In April 2019, the Twitch streamer DrDisrespect created a skin in Fortnite that looked similar to him, to “his” skin. He announced that he might sue Epic Games – for a lot of money.

In December 2018, the controversial YouTuber Daniel M. “Keemstar” Keem, Epic wanted him with a garden gnome skin to mock. It wasn’t good to speak on Epic Games anyway.

In November 2018 there was a skin that looked like it was for the Twitch streamer “Summit1g” made. Back then, Ninja didn’t find it funny that a competitor should get a skin in front of him.

Now Ninja is the first with an official skin in Fortnite, that should reconcile him.
