“Niní Bernardello’s Name to Grace The Fuegian Museum of Art”

The Secretary of Culture of Tierra del Fuego, AIAS will carry out this Saturday, March 18 from 7:00 p.m. an act where the Fuegian Art Museum “Nini Bernardello” will be named. The event will be held at the museum’s own facilities at Av. Belgrano 319, Río Grande. At the same time, the opening of the exhibition of the honored artist will take place: ‘Drawing on the horizon. -Multiple work- ‘an anthological exhibition that covers her biography and her extensive visual work.

In this regard, the head of the area, Lucía Rossi, pointed out that: “this Saturday we reopened this important space for the Fuegians and Fuegians, unique for the entire province that houses great works. We will rename it ‘Niní Bernardello’ in homage and well-deserved recognition of the artist’s career.’

In addition, he added that “we are going to inaugurate the anthological exhibition Niní Bernardello ‘Drawing on the horizon-Multiple Work’ where we are going to go through her extensive visual work as well as her biography. This is a very important exhibition and it is curated by the prestigious Matilde Marín, who is an internationally recognized artist and who very kindly accepted the challenge of working together with the team from the Museo Fueguino de Arte”.

“It is a moment of relevance for the entire artistic community and in general, because Niní Bernardello was not only a great artist but also a cultural manager and art militant who, thanks to her efforts, managed to get the executive launched from the executive.
