Adam Stejskal came to Salzburg three years ago from Brno. “I regularly caught for eighteen for two years, last season I went to the B-team bench, where I became number one in the spring and caught almost everything. Of course I am very satisfied with the new three-year contract, it is above all a confirmation of interest from me. “Perhaps I also fulfilled the expectations they had from me in Salzburg,” the young man says in a press release.
Last year, he helped Liefering to second place in the second Austrian league. “I’m especially glad that I started catching adult football on a regular basis, which is a huge difference from youth football,” states Stejskal. “There are two stable goalkeepers in the ace and one older and more experienced mentor with them. And we are now two goalkeepers in the B-side.

Salzburg is famous for its concept and great youth academy. “When one of the goalkeepers was injured, I went to train for a month with an A and then to pre-match training with a B-b. But otherwise I trained mainly with a B-b. the same principles, so it is not a problem for us to commute between teams and fit in quickly. Every player gets used to it quickly and feels good, “says Stejskal.
Otherwise, the young man is having a pretty hard summer. “I was on an introductory camp of a national team under the age of 21. On Monday I graduated from a grammar school in Prague, where I studied by distance learning. I am very happy about that. Now a week of vacation and June 17 should start with performance tests in Salzburg,” he smiles. se.
