With 16 points, Wes Clark was the most successful scorer for the guests, who were in the lead from the sixth minute onwards.
The 81:68 (47:39) was the third win in a row for the Niners, who can continue to hope for the play-offs. Coach Rodrigo Pastore’s team is tenth in the table with three games remaining. The eighth Würzburg only has one more win.
Göttingen, on the other hand, is already planning the play-offs, but suffered a setback in the race for home advantage in the first round, and Norway’s Harald Frey’s 27 points didn’t help either.
