A nine-year-old girl who suffered severe burns as a toddler after hot coffee was spilled on her in a café has settled her High Court case for €45,000. Robyn Woods, from Dundalk in Co Louth, was just 15 months old when the incident occurred at Ruby’s Vintage Style Tearoom in 2015. Liability was formally conceded in the case, and the judge, Mr Justice Garrett Simons, approved the settlement.
