Babenhausen (dpa) – A nine-year-old boy was hit and run over by a car in Babenhausen in the southern Hesse district of Darmstadt-Dieburg. As announced by police on Saturday, the boy was standing with his mother on the sidewalk when he was hit from behind by a 52-year-old driver. The woman wanted to leave the parking lot. The boy was pulled out from under the car with the help of his mother and the driver. He was reactive and sustained non-life threatening injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
