nine vaccination centers opened in Ile-de-France

This Tuesday Ile-de-France counts one vaccination center per department (and two for Hauts-de-Seine). These centers are currently reserved for health professionals over 50 or those with co-morbidities. They can come there to be vaccinated directly or make an appointment. A call number will be made available, and the preliminary consultation, essential to be vaccinated, can be carried out on site.

In the Yvelines it is at the hospital center of Versailles, in Seine-et-Marne at Melun, in Paris at the Hôtel-Dieu. To the hospital Bicêtre for Val-de-Marne, Nanterre in the Hauts-de-Seine or in Pontoise in the Val d’Oise.

A first step and a lot of expectations

These nine centers are only the beginning, assures the Regional Health Agency which promises new openings from this Wednesday, then the following days.

Other municipalities are also asking to become vaccination centers. Alfortville and Poissy hope to offer the vaccine to caregivers on Friday. The mayor of Raincy in Seine-Saint-Denis wants to open a “vaccinodrome”, a large vaccination center. Even if it means using vaccines that he says he is ready to buy directly.

A slingshot local elected officials, distraught at not being associated with the deployment of this campaign, while they largely organized the distribution of masks and screenings.
