Nine G20 countries did not support anti-Russian sanctions (list) – UNIAN

Some G20 countries have refused to directly call Russia an aggressor.

In the sixth month of a full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, only half G20 countries imposed sanctions against the aggressor country.

According to the results of the meeting, the head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell, everyone condemns the encroachment on the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the country, but when it comes to naming the aggressor and indicating who is responsible for the consequences, many refrain from doing so for various reasons.

On July 12, 2022, Japan announced that it would take on the G20 countries that did not dare to introduce sanctions against Russia.
