The selected films will be judged by an experienced jury: film theorist and historian Viktors Freibergs, Finnish Film Foundation International Recognition Coordinator Jenni Domingo, Belarusian film curator and critic Igor Sukmanov, Sandens Film Festival film selection department manager and full-length film curator
The winner of the competition will receive Riga IFF the main prize – a bronze rooster statuette, created in collaboration with artist Ervin Brock. It consists of eight parts, which the award-winning director can award to the film crew. The winner of the feature film competition, thanks to the insurance company BALTA, will also receive a cash prize of 3,000 euros.
