Nine crimes mark the New Year in Malanje – Jornal OPaís

Nine crimes of a diverse nature were recorded by the National Police in Malanje, on New Year’s Eve, the director of the Institutional Communication and Press Office of the Provincial Delegation of the Interior, Junqueira António, told ANGOP today.

According to the person responsible, the crimes include bodily harm, robberies and theft, with 7 citizens involved in them being arrested.

Compared to last year, he highlighted that there was a reduction of 4 crimes.

Regarding accidents, Junqueira António said that 4 road accidents were recorded, 1 more than last year and 3 injuries.

Despite these occurrences, the person responsible considered the transition of the year to be calm, taking into account the conduct demonstrated by citizens.
