Nindy Ayunda Fails to Show Up in Illegal Weapons Case Investigation

Artis Nindy Ayunda failed to comply with the summons of investigators at the previous examination regarding the case of illegal weapons Here Mahendra. Attorney Nindy Ayunda, Daniel Sony R Pardede, said that at that time Nindy was not in Indonesia.

“So that’s what we need to clarify. So during the previous examination, Ms. Nindy never refused to be absent, only at that time Ms. Nindy was abroad,” Daniel told reporters at Bareskrim Polri, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, Friday (26/5/2023).

Daniel said that his party had explained the reasons to investigators. He emphasized that Nindy had never refused to fulfill the summons.

“We have also explained that we have also proven the ticket that on the 5th of the first summons it was not that he did not want to attend, but because he was abroad,” he said.

Previously, the Directorate of General Crimes (Dittipidum) Bareskrim Polri summoned Dito Mahendra’s lover, Anindia Yandirest Ayunda Fadli or Nindy Ayunda. Nindy was summoned as a witness in the alleged case of helping Dito hide.

“On Friday, we will summon Nindy as a witness in relation to hiding the suspect,” said the Dirtipidum Bareskrim Polri Brigadier General Djuhandhani Puro Rahardjo to reporters, Tuesday (23/5).

He said that his party opened the opportunity to identify new suspects related to the suspicion of helping Dito hide. For information, Dito Mahendra has been on the wanted list (DPO) in an illegal firearms case.

“After yesterday’s search, we got a new crime to hide the suspect who had his fingerprints yesterday,” said Djuhandhani.

Djuhandhani also stated that investigators had summoned Nindy in the case of illegal possession of firearms with the suspect Dito. But Nindy was not present at the call.

“Nindy was the first to be summoned regarding Dito’s weapons possession and was not present,” said Djuhandhani.
