Some emblematic bars of Nîmes broadcast the France – Morocco match. In some places it is possible to book.
The France – Morocco meeting on Wednesday 14 December promises to be historic. To attend this exciting semi-final, here is a non-exhaustive selection of bars and brasseries in Nîmes.
First come first served
On the large avenues of Nîmes, the Victor-Hugo, the Café Olive, the Barjoe (36, 22 and 44 boulevard Victor-Hugo), the Latino (4 boulevard Amiral-Courbet) make the big screens stand out. Elsewhere downtown, there will be 421 (37 rue Fresque), the Café latin (29,-27 rue de l’Horloge) or even Le Prolé (20 rue Jean-Reboul). But beware, as Victor-Hugo warns, “He’s going to have a crazy world! “These aforementioned bars do not accept reservations, it will be the “first come, first served” law. Warning to fans, it’s best to arrive one, even two hours before, because the bars fill up quickly. Although some plan to broadcast on the terrace as well. This will be the case for Flaherty’s (21 boulevard Amiral-Courbet), which supplies indoor and outdoor distribution.
Reservations possible
You can book in this Irish pub (04 66 67 34 59), but only if you eat there.
Other bars take reservations. This is the case of the Reserve at 17 boulevard Amiral-Courbet (09 54 21 15 26), the Royal hotel place d’Assas (04 66 58 28 27) and the Estanco at 8 rue Fresque (06 67 08 84 09).
43 Nîmes, 43 Rue Émile-Jamais, welcomes by reservation only. This Tuesday evening there were about twenty seats left. It is possible to book without having a meal (06 28 81 70 44).
To satisfy an appetite during this suspenseful evening, all of the venues mentioned offer on-site dining, with the exception of Le Prolé. But in the latter it is possible to bring a meal from outside.
