The agglomeration of Nîmes metropolis is looking, this Friday, March 5, on the subject with its “Eco Rendez-vous”. A dozen guests on the program.
Nîmes métropole offers, on its Facebook page, its monthly online “Eco Rendezvous” whose theme, this Friday, at 9 am, “Morale of the leader : be accompanied to bounce back !”.
Led by Olivier Fabregoul, vice-president of Nîmes métropole, delegate for economic development, it brings together a dozen guests (presidents of consular chambers, professionals and representatives of associations) who testify.
Two round tables, “The state of health of managers and companies – How to initiate the recovery?” and “Prevention and support for leaders” will contribute to the debate. Overview with four speakers of this meeting of March 5.
MARTINE TIBÉRINO, president of Apesa 30 and regional vice-president of the association.
Created in 2013 in France and in 2019 in Gard, Apesa (Psychological assistance to entrepreneurs in acute suffering) deals with the topic of suicide. “ In the department, we have twenty-five sentries who answer (toll-free number on 0805 65 50 50) to entrepreneurs who call on us anonymously, who are in a voluntary process and who have plenty of reasons to take action. It’s up to us to detect it, explains Martine Tibérino. TPE managers and autoentrepreneurs are the most affected. The bosses of larger companies often have more money and many more jobs. They are on a mission to save their business and their employees. It mobilizes and occupies them. In fact, we’re all expecting a big wave when the aid ends. “
LAURE ASTRUC, occupational psychologist at the Interprofessional Association for Occupational Health and Medicine (AISMT).
“Today, business leaders are facing the health crisis and they do not always have the indicators and tools that could tell they are not doing well”, explains Laure Astruc. Set up a year ago by the AISMT, the regional Ose device (Occitanie support for entrepreneurs) is a service that helps prevent the discomfort of managers and opens up a time for discussion. “Right now they’re putting all their energy into the battle, but what about after? We’re afraid there will be damage.”
OLIVIER FABREGOUL, Vice-President of Nîmes Métropole.
“We are in the Covid period and it was completely necessary to take an interest in the health of the leaders. State aid alleviates their anxiety, but they are in artistic vagueness for afterwards, remarks Olivier Fabregoul. Economically, it is not that bad, because everyone is on a drip and there is not too much economic suffering. For example, there are far fewer bankruptcy filings. But we must prepare for the future in a human way. Paradoxically, I imagined there was distress, but the leaders have a terrible urge to bounce back. They rethought their concept, their economy and their values. It’s a little surprising. “
JULIEN COIN, young manager of the Boost sport center company.
At 27, Julien Coin was not afraid to launch his business in the midst of a health crisis. “I was already independent, and for two years, I had been thinking about my structure. At the end of 2019, I submitted the files and the work was done in early 2020 (Boost sport center is installed on 300 m2 at KM Delta, in Nîmes, Editor’s note) and I was due to open in March. The first lockdown arrived and I finally opened in May 2020, until October. The launch was way beyond my expectations. “
“I am geared towards tailor-made sports, 30% of my sports clientele target the high level like the players of Nîmes Olympique, details Julien Coin. We can thus work by exemption, but it is anecdotal, because it represents 15% of my usual turnover, the rest comes from state aid. It is not an end in itself or a life.
Boost sport center is kind of the project of my life and I intend to develop it. For this to work, I anticipated a second confinement and inflated my cash flow. Only companies that have a substantial cash flow manage to get by. So I lowered my personal lifestyle, and with my partner, we live more simply. “
