For several years, the Pissevin supermarket has been closed. As part of the ANRU, the city of Nîmes has launched the “Kennedy Market” program. The Nîmes agency MPM Archi has just won the competition for the construction of the Kennedy South block in Nîmes.
In Pissevin, for several days, the inhabitants discovered their old supermarket completely demolished. Closed for a few years, Carrefour Market has disappeared from the neighborhood. Instead, the site will benefit, as part of the urban renewal program, from a new large-scale project entrusted by the city of Nîmes to MPM Archi and GGL as contracting authority.
This is the project Kennedy Market which should settle on a right of way of 1300 m². On the program, first around sixty homes. Then, on the ground floor, shops and businesses. But also, a nursing home, shared gardens, an association room and underground parking.
