Nîmes: Tango buses diverted after new gunfire in Valdegour

Lines 3 and 8 no longer serve part of their stops since 4 p.m. this Friday, December 24.

Following exchanges of fire heard in the neighborhood this Friday, December 24, the two bus lines that serve the Valdegour district are partially suspended until the end of service at the request of the national police.

Lines 3 and 8 no longer provide the following stops: Newton, Archimede, Avogadro, Thales, Galilée.

“It has been three weeks since there has been an exchange of fire around the Avogadro square,” recalls the deputy mayor for security Richard Schieven, providing support to the staff providing service to the buses. These bus stops are generally no longer served by the two lines after 6 p.m. on December 16. On Monday, December 13, a bus driver was shot at by an armed man in the neighborhood.
