From March 6 to 11, the association is organizing an open house week to introduce people to its new range of sports activities, free of charge.
Since its creation in 2003, Nîmes Sport Santé has made adapted sports its core business. Intended for people with disabilities, the elderly or chronically ill (diabetes, obesity, cancer, etc.), adapted sport allows gentle fitness, for people who are often very far from physical activity.
“We are going to add a new activity to our offers, which also include a sports school for overweight children, slots for sports in the workplace, training for sports educators and research with the Apsyv laboratory in Unîmes”, explains Christophe Martinez, the director of the association, recognized Maison Sport Santé in 2020 by the Ministry of Sports and that of Health.
