This Thursday marks the return of the unmissable Thursdays in Nîmes. They will punctuate the summer until August 25, every Thursday evening from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. in the squares and boulevards of Nîmes. Many creative craftsmen will be present, on the boulevards Victor-Hugo, Alphonse-Daudet and Amiral-Courbet, on the place de la Calade, around the Maison Carrée and on the forecourt of the arenas. Boulevard Gambetta will be the place for dealers and two painters.
For readers and bargain hunters, Place aux Herbes and Rue de la Madeleine will welcome booksellers and collectors. Artistic and cultural creations will take place in particular on the Place de la Madeleine.
Musique…
Concerts are planned, with a wide variety of musical genres. Jazz, pop, variety, salsa and even classical music will be on display in various squares in the city center every Thursday evening. Peñas will also enliven the Shield. On the bullfighting side, Camargue races in the arenas will take place on Thursday August 18, with a herd competition, and on August 25.

For lovers of fermented grapes, the JeuDiVins will be there to awaken their senses. Indeed the winegrowers of the AOC Costières de Nîmes will take over part of the Esplanade every Thursday in the summer, from 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., to have their production tasted. It will also be possible to savor local products, with a market of local products also on the Esplanade every Thursday evening.
