Nîmes Festival: Orelsan ignites the audience of the arenas

After Lyon, Orelsan continued his festival tour this Sunday, June 19, through the full arenas of Nîmes, where he had performed in 2018. Before the rap star took the stage, the public savored the lively performances. of the trio of rappers 3pour100 rightly supported by Orelsan and the singer-songwriter Poupie (urban pop, reggae).

Then, around 10:30 p.m., carried by an audience that chanted “Aurélien, a song!”the phenomenon with 500,000 sales for his latest album Civilization, attacked his performance, images with neat graphics on the big screen behind him, with his recent titles: It’s clean, Bebeoa, then The quest, The smell of l essence (with a huge ovation), better day… A short break allowed Orelsan to recall his happiness at singing in the arena: “Here, it’s always crazy. It feels like Spartacus. We had filmed there with Gringe. They are cool.”

The artist also invited spectators to go on stage to play a part of Civilization fighter inspired by the video game. One of the highlights of this evening where he interpreted older titles with humor and realism (Rêves bizarres, Bloqué, La Terre est ronde, Basique, etc.). A great show.
