The interest is that the person who deposits an object, leaves directly with a sum of money and remains the owner of the object. Items not collected will be sold at public auction. If the amount of the auction is greater than the amount loaned plus interest and costs, the difference goes to the depositing client. The scale of pawnbroking was indeed revalued to 21 euros per gram for 18-carat gold, in September. With this new pricing policy, Crédit Municipal also allows customers who already have a pledge loan to see their amount revalued upwards.
