Residents were able to ask questions to representatives of Eiffage Immobilier Occitanie and the town hall on this site by the road to Beaucaire.
The Zac du Mas Lombard, a two-decade-old project sponsored by the City, is the subject of a concertation with public meeting in Paloma and field visit like the one this Saturday morning.
Indeed, representatives of Eiffage Immobilier Occitanie and the town hall presented the project and answered questions from around twenty residents of this future Zac du Mas Lombard.
At the west entrance, a relay car park managed by the Agglo could be created as well as a roundabout for access to the district of the road to Beaucaire. This caused reluctance among the members of the Trois Mas neighborhood committee chaired by Patricia Fallot.

She comes back to this project: “I am not against it because there are interesting things but I do not want access to the district by the Beaucaire road and the Aimé Orand street to be eliminated. (… .) The project also provides for 25% of social housing. Seen as it is presented, we would not like to have in our quiet district the problems of the neighboring Chemin-Bas moving to our place. “
The hydraulic problems, bus services, private land that can be trimmed as part of the development were also addressed.
The residents have also discovered the site of the future school group of ten classes, the location of some of the 1,150 homes which will be located as close as possible to the current homes.
The start of work is announced for 2023 and the first deliveries of housing in 2026.
