Organized on Thursday March 10 at the Hôtel des Ventes in Nîmes, the session dedicated to works of art, furniture, jewelery and numismatics brought together more than 700 live subscribers and around thirty customers in the dining room.
It’s time to take stock. Launched at 9 a.m., the auction soared to reach the amount of 140,000 euros for the 150 lots in the “coins” category of the catalog: gold, antique, royal coins and “uncirculated” banknotes.
The theme for the afternoon was different but again, the auctioneers recorded some good sales. In particular, a bull’s head in ballpoint pen ink signed Pablo Picasso, made on an order paper from the restaurant La Couronne in Nîmes (17 x 13.5 cm) which reached 20,200 euros.
