NÎMES A concept of filled brioches will land in the city center

The “Pimp My Bun” brand will open rue Saint-Antoine at the beginning of February and will offer savory or sweet brioches, a first in the heart of the city.

“Opening soon… Wait on our networks”, this is what you can read on the window of 4 rue Saint-Antoine in Nîmes. Dorothée Mouzimann, owner of the “Burger’n’co” located just opposite, will launch a slightly different concept next month. No burger, but filled buns, salty for the meal and sweet for dessert. A select committee has been invited to test the different products that will be on the menu. Gourmet recipes tested in advance whetted the appetite of the guests. Just like at “Burger’n’co”, a reference is hidden through each of the à la carte choices. We therefore find the “Bun fiction”, a classic hot dog revisited, the gravelax salmon bun, the one with pulled pork, the “mac and cheese” bun or even a vegetarian option with falafels to name but one. part of what can be found.

“We stay in street football because that’s what we master. The concept is very popular in Miami and in the United States, it’s very melting and buttery buns that we will garnish with products savory or sweet. Everything is homemade with local products, the meats are racy”explains the boss, at the head of Burger’n’co for 6 years. “I wanted to try something else and we know that everything that works in the United States also works very well here”, she continues. All that remains is to settle certain details and the first customers can be welcomed.
