“Problem tracing This is still very minimal, GeNose is good for use, especially in the commercial sector, but in procurement it is very difficult, it has not been ordered for five months, “said Chairman of the Indonesian Employers’ Association (APINDO) Hariyadi Sukamdani, to CNBC Indonesia, Friday (16/4/2021).
Hariyadi advised that the government should pay more attention to tools screening Covid – 19 is because it can help the level of early identification of the virus in all citizen activities.
Besides that, it can also help entrepreneurs to reduce operational costs. With GeNose tracing, it is only Rp. 30,000 cheaper than rapid antigen which is Rp. 250 thousand.
“The government can pay more attention, hopefully this subsidy for public services can enter the commercial sector, so that the price can be cheaper and more numerous,” he said.
Hariyadi explained that the use of GeNose can be placed in hotels and malls, especially if there are events such as weddings.
“So GeNose is encouraged to promote socialization, so that the public is not worried, tracing can also be done through the application, “said Hariyadi.
Until now, the use of GeNose is still limited to rail transportation and air transportation for certain airports. GeNose is most widely used in rail transportation. Besides that, it is used in cross-border transportation as well as land transportation.
