Nikos Androulakis: He raises the pressure on the government – The next moves –

Today, the coordinating political center of PaSoK will meet for the second time. The meeting of the members of the new body is set for 16:00 at Harilaou Trikoupi and they will all be there.

The members of the round table of the party come to the meeting, having analyzed all the latest opinion polls, which show that PaSoK is flirting with 20% and the difference with the first New Democracy is hovering between single digit and low double digit percentages.

The road map of PaSoK

According to reliable information, this top body will decide today the road map of the party and the parliamentary group for the next period.

After the first, exploratory, as it was called, meeting, the second one will have an agenda for both the party and the parliamentary group. It will be discussed and decided how Nikos Androulakis‘ wish will come true. In other words, to make proper use of the faction’s executive potential. To organize the structures that must exist, so that the executives can offer and the PASOK can be found everywhere.

“At PaSoK we organize ourselves”

A high-ranking member of the faction told “BIMA” characteristically that “we are organizing and in the next period we will take many important initiatives” and continued by emphasizing that “PaSoK must be in society, next to the citizen, with proposals of law in the Parliament such as the housing, but let’s not forget an opportunity that exists on the horizon and concerns the constitutional review. There, we must be ready to honor the tradition we have as a party and make our own proposals to strengthen the institutions that are affected by the manipulations of the government” he said characteristically.

Old feud between Tsoukala – Marinaki

With what he assumed, he acted. The reason for the press representative of PaSoK Kostas Tsoukalaswhich on the occasion of the reaction of the government representative Pavlos Marinakis, to the visit of Nikos Androulakis to the ASEP offices, showed his willingness to rock hard with the government.

The Androulakis attack

Specifically, after a planned visit to the Supreme Personnel Selection Council, the president of the PASoK attacked the government and emphasized, among other things, that “the result of the government’s ongoing mistakes is that thousands of people are being held hostage. They have lost time, money and unfortunately they don’t see the light at the end of the tunnel.”

Marinaki’s reaction

The government representative responded to these accusations by pointing out that “a few 24 hours earlier, he had voted against the bill with the specific provisions, which are aimed at the faster completion of the public recruitment process. Which Androulakis should we believe? Of the Parliament, of Harilaou Trikoupis or perhaps neither of them?”

The Tsoukala announcement

A few hours later, the fierce confrontation was continued by Kostas Tsoukalas who, in his statement, questioned why 32 amendments to the 2021 law were needed and pointed out that “the Government Spokesman, in his anxiety to justify the Government’s failure in matters of transparency and meritocracy, was caught unread” and noted that “PASOK voted for every provision, which served to facilitate recruitment”.

But the conflict did not end there. Pavlos Marinakis is back. In response, he unleashed on Kostas Tsoukalas and PASoK, stating among other things that “the new press representative of PASOK in a statement adopted all the bad practices of an irresponsible opposition, first and foremost the formulation of lies, which are disproved with a simple visit to website of the Hellenic Parliament”.

Marinakis is back

Mr. Marinaki’s second announcement ended by pointing out that “PaSoK has the right to choose its path of ‘no to everything’, even to those that everyone agrees are in the interest of every citizen from one end of the country to the other.” On the contrary, to try to justify his attitude in retrospect, presenting black as white, refers to times we all want to leave behind,” he concluded.

“Bounced stern”

The answer from Kostas Tsoukalas did not take long to come. “The Government Spokesperson was apparently informed by those who exposed him that what he said about PASOK not passing the provisions, which served to speed up recruitment, had nothing to do with reality. He backfired and turned into mere “government sources”, who speak of a vote against the principle of the bill and the provisions to increase locality scoring which, as everyone understands, have nothing to do with the acceleration of hiring that he mentioned in his initial statement. Correction welcome. Finally, is there an answer why the government brought 32 amendments to the 2021 law?” she wondered. Showing in this way that he has no intention of letting anything fall down and at the same time that a feud between the two representatives has just begun.
