“I’m flattered”. This is how Nikolay Malinov commented to bTV the news that he is on the list of sanctions under the “Magnitsky” law.
“When the US Treasury barks at me, I’m flattered, I’m going in the right direction,” he said.
Malinov learned about the news from bTV. He was sanctioned for bribing a judge.
Others on the list are former Kozloduy NPP director Ivan Genov, former finance minister Vladislav Goranov, former CEO Alexander Hristov Nikolov, and former energy minister Rumen Ovcharov.
