Ukrainian paratroopers dismantled an armored formation of the Russian army in the Donetsk region, destroying 5 tanks and 4 infantry fighting vehicles of the Russian Armed Forces in one battle. News agencies note that The Russians tried to storm positions under the control of the 79th Air Assault Brigade from Nikolaev, but were defeated.
In a statement from the brigade’s press service notedthat the invaders went on the offensive at dawn, using smoke as camouflage. However, reconnaissance was able to detect in time the movement of a column of Russian armored vehicles, after which the artillery began to inflict massive fire on the invaders.
