Niklas Baarli, who recently underwent surgery, predicts a future abundant with porridge.

On Tuesday last week, presenter and TV profile, Niklas Baarli (33), operated on his jaw.

To Good evening Norway, Baarli tells that he had an incorrect position in his jaw which caused him to have an ever-increasing underbite and a lot of pain in his head.

– In order not to get real “bird’s feet” and lots of migraines when I get older, the doctors decided that it was wise to move the upper jaw forward, he says.

– Violent things

Baarli operated at St. Olavs in Trondheim and says that he stayed in the hospital two days after the operation for pain control.

– They have loosened the upper jaw and then they have moved it forward a few millimeters and then they have bolted it back on. So it was relatively violent stuff.

Despite the fact that he has just undergone surgery, he will spend Easter at the cottage.

– I manage the most important thing. I manage to sit in the sun wall at the cabin with a beer and then look forward to better days.

– Makes a lot of porridge

Furthermore, the TV profile says that he must stick to “soft” food in the future.

– I can’t eat anything for five or six weeks. There will be a lot of porridge, soup and pudding ahead. I’m really dreading the fifth week of porridge.

Fortunately, he gets good support from his husband, Benjamin Baarli Silseth (32).

– Benjamin is a nurse, as he always is when something is wrong. He has put on his white coat and arranges pills, beer and mashed potatoes, concludes Baarli.

According to the plan, the presenter will return to the breakfast show on P5 on Tuesday 11 April.
