Nikkei rose 1.23% at the beginning of trading in Tokyo, by Reuters

TOKYO (Reuters) – The benchmark rose in early trading on the Tokyo Stock Exchange on Monday.

The Nikkei rose 1.23 percent to 26,880.21 points, while the broader index rose 0.94 percent to 1,944.91 points.
