Jakarta –
Nikita Mirzani told how he was disappointed with the 5-star hotel he used for quarantine after returning from Turkey. The room he rented was far from human, but the price was very expensive.
Since the beginning of his arrival in Indonesia, Nikita Mirzani felt that something was odd. He felt strange with the procedure for doing quarantine for people who had just returned from abroad.
“From the airport there are 3 doors that we have to go through, not just immigration stamps. Passports are confiscated. So the first door, the second is to legalize the letter that was given vaccines and sucks. The third door is just about to leave, we want to take the suitcase when the COVID task force asks if we have booked a hotel Where to quarantine? If it hasn’t been offered to them,” said Nikita Mirzani when met in the Pesanggrahan area, South Jakarta, Tuesday (27/7/2021).
Nikita Mirzani finally chose to quarantine at the cheapest hotel. But unfortunately, the rooms are all full.
“There are six of me, one woman. So quarantine is one room for one person. Imagine the six of me have six rooms, I want a cheap hotel for quarantine,” said Nikita Mirzani.
“Yes, it’s a cheap hotel, the important thing is that we are safe, can chat, and are on one floor. Finally, ordering a cheap hotel is full,” he continued.
Nikita Mirzani was finally offered a 5-star hotel by the clerk. Not wanting to be complicated, Nikita Mirzani also followed what was suggested.
“I’m tired of going to rest, I’ll just say yes, I’m given a list of all 5-star hotels. Even though I sleep in cheap hotels, it’s okay, quarantine can’t go anywhere and the hotel is quiet. It’s like a dead city,” said Nikita Mirzani .
“Given a list of expensive hotels, I just said yes, I asked the price, Rp. 17.8 million. Yes, I ordered the hotel,” he said.
However, after arriving at the location, the price per hotel room suddenly changed. The price is so much more expensive than originally offered.
“I asked if we could share a room with two people because we are a team. So Rp 17.8 (million) multiplied by three for eight days. When I arrived at the hotel the price changed to Rp. 22 million. That’s the witness who heard a lot,” said Nikita Mirzani.
When he heard this, Nikita Mirzani did not accept it. He also complained to local officials.
“I’m not fighting, I’m asking, ‘Why is it IDR 17 million at the airport, why is it IDR 22 million at the hotel?’ Because I was tired, I paid. There I was already waiting for the task force team to do the PCR. Yes, after paying for it, we tested it. The next day the results were negative,” explained Nikita Mirzani.
“I mean if it’s negative, don’t treat it like a positive person,” concluded the mother of three.
